| Soil mechanics Lab |
This Lab deals with the testing of soil with respect to Foundation Design and Construction, Pavement Design, Design of Underground and Earth Retaining Structures, Design of Embankment and Excavations, Design of Earth Dam. The Lab also offers consultancy for soil testing in construction work. |
| Computer Lab |
Latest software are available on Civil Engineering, providing practical knowledge to the students so that they are at par with technological advancement.
Auto CAD 2006, STAAD Pro and Bentley Architecture are installed to familiarize the students with the latest drawing aids and structural design.
All these software are additional encouragement for the student, provides awareness of the latest technology and offers scope for doing consultancy. |
| Highway and Material Testing Lab |
Various construction materials like bricks, cement, concrete, steel, aggregates, bitumen, etc. are tested.
Testing is done to gauge their strength, different characteristics and to assess if the material supplied conforms to the standards set by I.S. codes. |
| Environmental Lab |
| Analysis of Water Sample are performed to determine the quality of any water sample.

| Hydraulics Lab |
| Examination of liquids in motion, particularly flow of water through orifice, pipes, Venturi meter, etc. |
| Survey Practice |
Students have been trained to handle Total Station.
